Really Good Soup
About 6 Servings

1/2 lbs. chuck steak, cut into small pieces
1 medium onion, chopped small
1/2 cup carrots, chopped small
1/2 cup celery, chopped small
1/2 cup green beans, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes (14 1/2 oz) juice and all
1 can water (14 1/2 oz)
2 cans beef broth (14 1/2 oz) ea
1 can ranch beans with chili's (14 1/2 oz)   Important Ingredient!
1 cup small shell pasta   (more or less...probably less)
salt and pepper to taste
  • In soup pot, over medium heat, saute beef in a little oil until brownish.
  • Add onions, carrots, celery, green beans and saute for about 5-7 minutes more.
  • Add everything else.
  • Cover and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until vegetable are tender and pasta is cooked.
