"I had one mission in mind, six years ago, while looking for a place to live and that was to find a place that was "serene." I knew immediately upon entering the front entrance of Sandollar that I had found my home, a place of serenity.

Among its many amenities, Sandollar has common areas with green grass, flowers, trees, subdued lighting, fountains and ponds (where mating geese come every year to have their babies). Most of all, Sandollar has wonderful, kind, caring, neighbors.

I am a working, single woman and, at the end of the day, I find myself anxious to hurry home where I feel safe, secure, and at peace. Although it is conveniently very near to "the hub" of City activity, it is somehow also a private sanctuary which seems to be a world away from it all.

As a plaque (left by the former owner) that hangs in my house says: "The time to be happy is now - the place to be happy is here." Kind of says it all . . ."

"I am so pleased at the decision that I have bought into such a wonderful place like Sandollar!! The neighborhood is just what I was looking for...a quiet, secluded area, that's still close to work.

So many of my friends have chosen newer homes, in far north Phoenix or east valley!! I love the fact that I am just minutes from the airport and work. I'm a baseball fan, and it takes me only minutes to get to the ballpark!! I live in the big city...but my neighborhood is a quiet as can be!!

In the past year I have rediscovered a new side of Phoenix. This North Central area with it's many diverse restaurants and establishments. I have lived in Phoenix for 16 years, and NEVER knew this side of town. There's
great little coffee places, nurseries, restaurants and parks. The canal is wonderful to live near and I absolutely love walking along the canal!! I fell like I'm discovering a whole new side of Phoenix.

I could not of made a better decision than Sandollar!! What I have discovered is that my home is so well built!! Unlike the newer neighborhoods that have appeared overnight. I have remodeled my kitchen, the bathroom and have laid wood floors...so YES, I have seen the baseboards, and the sub floor and the plumbing!! This is NOT a "build it overnight" style home!!

My last house was a much older home with a huge backyard. Thus...the reason I chose to move to a patio home!! I am so incredibly thrilled with the size of my patio!! And I love that I will NEVER again have to use my
lawn mower. The grounds at Sandollar are meticulously maintained...and I DON'T have do it!! :)

I really love the large trees and rolling landscape!!! And the pond!! What a great feature for a neighborhood!!All summer long, the pool was like my personal playground...seldom did I see another resident swimming.

I am a single woman, and realized there are many of us in the neighborhood.!!! I feel so safe and comfortable in this area. The neighbors are wonderful and there's a real sense of community.

I would highly recommend Sandollor to anyone!!!"
